Temple is a city in Carroll and Haralson Counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 2,383 at the 2000 census. Census Estimates for 2005 show a population of 3,910.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.9 square miles (17.8 km²), of which, 6.8 square miles (17.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (1.46%) is water.
