Ashton (formerly Ogle Station) is a village in Lee County, Illinois, United States. The population was 972 at the 2010 census, down from 1,142 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,142 people, 437 households, and 312 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,727.6 people per square mile (668.1/km²). There were 468 housing units at an average density of 708.0 per square mile (273.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.99% White, 1.05% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.35% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.36% of the population.
