About This Place
Delnor Hospital, the comprehensive acute-care hospital that serves Geneva and the surrounding area, has deep roots in the community.
The hospital campus on Randall Road in Geneva was born from the 1986 merger of Community Hospital on Second Street in Geneva and Delnor Hospital in St. Charles. Delnor takes its name from St. Charles benefactor Delora Norris, the niece of famed financier John W. "Bet a Million" Gates.
Delnor is a full-service hospital, independent and not-for-profit. Its list of services is extensive and includes everything from the emergency room to breast health to cardiology to senior living to nuclear medicine. It is a state-designated Level 2 trauma center and a level 2-plus special care nursery.
"We're the primary healthcare resource for the community, and we are proud of our role," said Brian Griffin, director of marketing and public relations. "Having a strong hospital is a vital part of having a strong community."
The hospital campus includes the Health and Wellness Center, a medically based fitness facility with the latest in equipment and wellness programs.
Through a network of affiliates, Delnor Health System provides comprehensive health services for residents of the Central Fox Valley. In addition to the Health and Wellness Center, the affiliates include Tri-Cities Surgery Center, Delnor Health Care Foundation, the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, Delnor Practice Management, Home Health Services, Tri-Cities Cancer Center, Delnor Glen Senior Living and Tri-Cities Dialysis Center.
