Alexandria is a city in and the county seat of Campbell County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 8,286 at the 2000 census.
Alexandria is located at 38°57′32″N 84°23′21″W / 38.95889°N 84.38917°W / 38.95889; -84.38917 (38.958947, -84.389290).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.44 square miles (14.1 km²), of which, 5.37 square miles (13.9 km²) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.92%) is water. The city is fifteen miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio, on U.S. Route 27.
