About This Place
East Falmouth is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Falmouth in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. It is located at the base of Massachusetts' "fishhook" peninsula (see map at right). The population was 6,615 at the 2000 census.
East Falmouth is located at 41°33′54″N 70°33′0″W / 41.565°N 70.55°W / 41.565; -70.55 (41.565096, -70.549984).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 16.3 km² (6.3 mi²). 14.1 km² (5.4 mi²) of it is land and 2.2 km² (0.8 mi²) of it (13.38%) is water.
