Baudette is a city in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota, United States. It is known as the Walleye Capital of the World. The population was 1,106 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Lake of the Woods County.
The town of Baudette was largely destroyed by the Baudette Fire of 1910, but was quickly rebuilt.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.7 square miles (9.6 km²), of which, 3.3 square miles (8.5 km²) of it is land and 0.4 square miles (1.1 km²) of it (11.29%) is water.
