Federal Dam is a city in Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 110 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.9 square miles (5.0 km²), of which, 1.9 square miles (4.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.04%) is water.

There were 81 housing units at an average density of 42.7 per square mile (16.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 71.29% White, 18.81% Native American, 0.99% Asian, and 8.91% from two or more races.
