Bloomfield is a city in Stoddard County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,952 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Stoddard County.
Bloomfield is located at 36°53′16″N 89°55′48″W / 36.88778°N 89.93°W / 36.88778; -89.93 (36.887831, -89.930131). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km²), all of it land.
