Loa is a town in, and the county seat of, Wayne County, Utah, United States, along State Route 24. The population was 525 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²), all of it land. Loa sits besides the only source of water known as Spring Creek, which springs up 4 miles to the north where today is located the State fish hatchery.
