Kynefin

A little cafe in the historic village of Hall. Here at Kynefin we make homely, British-influenced food that makes you feel good. The word Kynefin (pronounced kin-ev-an) is Welsh for one’s habitat, or a place where they feel comfortable and familiar. Our philosophy of respecting the land and animals that our food comes from influences all that we do at Kynefin. Geoff makes nearly everything in-house, including bombolini doughnuts, cakes, breads, jams and chutneys, chai and hot chocolate blends and more. Where possible, we try to source local and free range ingredients. We also aim to support other local businesses, by stocking their coffee, beer, wine, bacon, milk, eggs, sourdough and more. We would love to welcome you to our cafe, where we hope to make you feel at home and share our love for comforting, home-made cooking, as well as delicious coffee, beer and wine with you. Kynefin is the only place you can now buy Bombolini Doughnuts, which we make fresh in-house each day.
