The Olive Place is a French inspired Café and Deli Shop located in the heart of the Byron Arts & Industrial Estate. It offers a variety of fine take-away options such as gourmet sandwiches, quiches, salads, cakes, top quality organic coffee and other hot drinks. The Deli section offers a large choice of marinated olives, sweet pickled garlic, tapenade, imported French cheeses, and other freshly homemade Mediterranean products. The Olive Place is operated by Byron Bay Olive Co. which defines itself as an "olive artisan" using French Provencal traditional recipes. The company was inspired by the flavors of Provence but born in this beautiful surf town. It started trading at local markets and has remained loyal to that ever since. The inspiration for the recipes comes from its owner Antoine's authentic family traditions back in Sanary-Sur-Mer, a beautiful village in the South of France. Byron Bay Olive Co. reveals, at their own pace, an infinite pallet of flavors and textures.
