The St Francis of Assisi Parish in Dungog Gresford was established on July 1, 2025, through the amalgamation of the former St Mary's Parish Dungog and St Helen's Parish Gresford. Located within the Hunter Region, the parish encompasses several churches, including St Mary's Church in Brown Street and St Helens Church in Park Street, and serves a community of approximately 9,100 people.
