Narrandera, New South Wales 2700
If you want to experience the excitement of spotting a koala in its natural habitat, then head to the Narrandera Flora and Fauna reserve. Part of the Murrumbidgee Valley National park, the reserve is home to over 200 koalas that were reintroduced in the 1970s, when the local koala population had been hunted to extinction across the region in the early 1900s for the fur trade.
