The Parramatta Visitor Information Centre’s friendly staff provide a unique starting point for discovering Parramatta - the city that tells the story of Australia. The City of Parramatta’s Hosts & Guides are based here offering a wealth of information to help you to plan your visit in and around Parramatta. Knowledgeable Hosts & Guides are also regularly stationed around the Parramatta CBD to answer any questions you may have with a meet and greet service also operating daily at the ferry wharf. The Visitor Information Centre runs regular Aboriginal programs, heritage, nature based and school holiday programs and educational activities and sits alongside a local research and family history library, Council’s archives and cultural collections. Our programs engage people in authentic historical contexts and nature based experiences, giving customers a better understanding of the past and our rich heritage.
