Southern Inland Rugby Union

The Southern Inland Rugby Union (SIRU) oversees the management and operations of rugby within a large geographical area stretching from Albury in the south to Young in the north, and from Tumut in the east to Hay in the west. The organization supports both senior and junior competitions, involving a range of clubs and fostering the growth of rugby through various programs, particularly for juniors and women.

The SIRU Board is comprised of a President, two Vice Presidents, and four Directors, all of whom are responsible for specific clubs within the zone. In partnership with ACT Brumbies, SIRU also employs Development Officers to promote rugby participation across all levels in the region.
