Lucrana Simmentals

Lucrana Simmentals, located 35 km southeast of Texas, Queensland, Australia, is a prominent breeding establishment recognized for its traditional red and black Simmentals. Established in 1986 by the Moore family, it now includes a herd of 300 stud and recorded females and conducts an annual on-property bull and female sale every August.

The breeding philosophy at Lucrana focuses primarily on traditional Simmental types, with an expansion into black Simmental initiated in 2016. The herd is managed under commercial conditions in the rugged Traprock region, emphasizing quality and sustainability in cattle farming.
