Sport for Jove

Sport for Jove is an award-winning independent theatre company based in New South Wales, known for producing a major touring summer festival of outdoor Shakespeare as well as theatrical and education-focused seasons of classical and contemporary works. As the resident theatre company of the Seymour Centre, it also offers an interactive education program for schools across New South Wales.

For 2026, Sport for Jove is set to celebrate its 17th Annual Summer Season with a production of Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors," alongside a diverse education season featuring "Macbeth," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and the world premiere of "Prometheus." In addition, the company will host its acclaimed Symposium Series, showcasing a variety of esteemed literary works and engaging with the community through theatre and education.
