Join TribalLink and experience Aboriginal culture on the Sunshine Coast! Experiences are suitable for all ages and can be tailored to all abilities. All experiences include native cuisine tastings. Get off the couch and away from screens for a day. Bring the family closer together by sharing an outdoor experience at TribalLink! Grow and learn together! First Nations guides will welcome you with ochre face painting at the morning Wanya (welcome) Tour, then take you on a food and useful plant identification bushwalk through the exquisite rainforest. At the afternoon workshops enjoy bush yarns and boomerang painting and throwing instruction. There's a prize for the first participant to get their boomerang to return and catch it! Design and decorate a dance wand or clap sticks. Each participant takes home their own artefact. Songs and Stories of the People evenings include dreaming stories, didgeridoo, ochre face painting, native cuisine, and traditional dance performance.
