PS Marion
The Mannum Dock Discovery Centre is home to the fully restored Paddle Steamer Marion, a heritage vessel built in 1897 and recognized as one of the last operational wood-fired side paddle steamers in the world. Visitors can explore the rich river history and heritage of the region, alongside the significant Randell Dry Dock, which is the only floating dry dock of its kind left globally.
The centre acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Nganguraku people, and aims to respect their cultural heritage. Additionally, the facility engages in preserving historical engineering feats and offers various volunteer opportunities for those looking to contribute to its mission. Generated from the website
