1 Torrens Square
Glenelg, South Australia 5045
An Anglican parish has existed here since 1852 when the first church of St Peter’s was built, although the land for the church was first set aside by Colonel William Light in 1839. Now 164 years later worship takes place across three centres:– St Peter’s Church, Torren’s Square, Glenelg; St Martin’s Church, Hastings Street, Glenelg South; and St Margaret’s Chapel at St Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School.
