Wakefield Valley

Wakefield Valley, located in Eastwood, South Australia, was established in 1994 by Michael and Correne Sandow on land initially intended for farming. The vineyard thrives along the Wakefield River, where a variety of grapes including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, and Riesling are grown in ideal red loam over limestone soil.

In addition to grape cultivation, Wakefield Valley has expanded its offerings to include pomegranates and walnuts, allowing for a more diverse agricultural approach. The vineyard primarily sells its grapes to local wineries while producing a select range of wines for its own use.
