The Tamworth Truck Drivers Memorial, established in 2000 by the Tamworth Truck Drivers Club, honors men and women who have tragically lost their lives while working as professional drivers and those dedicated to the transport industry. This poignant monument, one of only four in Australia, features approximately 180 plaques commemorating the individuals who have contributed to the trucking community.

Located on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, the memorial serves as a place of remembrance and reflection, with visitors often leaving flowers, notes, and photographs to pay tribute to the deceased. Supported by a one-off grant from the New South Wales Government in 2015, the site continues to grow as a tribute to the sacrifices made within the transport sector.
