A passionate sailor and Tasmanian who gains satisfaction from providing enjoyable experiences for guests. James Douglas has spent most of his working life as a Town Planner & Project Manager. A desire to return to his home State and pursue his passion for the sea has been the motivation for establishing SailTas . As your skipper James brings a wealth of experience gained in over 35 years as a competitive yachtsman, cruising skipper & as a commercial yacht captain. This practical experience is complemented by international ‘Yacht master’ certification & all necessary commercial licenses .
