Aradale Lunatic Asylum, located in Ararat, Victoria, was a significant Australian psychiatric facility that operated for over 126 years, treating and housing the mentally ill. Established in 1865, the asylum once accommodated up to 1,000 patients and features a large complex with around 70 historic abandoned buildings.
