The Tamworth Truck Drivers Memorial, established in 2000 by the Tamworth Truck Drivers Club, honors the men and women who have tragically lost their lives while working as professional drivers and those who have dedicated their careers to the transport industry. This poignant site features approximately 180 plaques and serves as a place of remembrance, where families and friends leave flowers, notes, and photographs to commemorate their loved ones.
Located on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, New South Wales, the memorial stands as one of only four dedicated truck drivers' memorials in the country. Officially unveiled by Tony Windsor MP, the site continues to receive community support and recognition through generous contributions that have enabled its expansion and preservation.
