The Social Studio in Collingwood, Victoria, is a not-for-profit social enterprise that harnesses fashion and creativity to create work and learning opportunities for Melbourne's refugee and new migrant communities. Since its inception in 2009, it has trained over 820 individuals in valuable fashion industry skills while also diverting more than 20 tonnes of textile waste from landfills.
