Nurses Memorial Centre

The Tamworth Truck Drivers Memorial honors the men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty as professional drivers, as well as those who have devoted themselves to the transport industry. Established in 2000 by the Tamworth Truck Drivers Club, it serves as a poignant tribute featuring approximately 180 plaques inscribed with the names of the deceased.

Located on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, New South Wales, the memorial has become a place of remembrance where flowers, notes, and photographs are left by friends and family. It was expanded in 2015 with the support of a one-time grant from the New South Wales Government, further solidifying its role as a significant site of commemoration within the community.
