The Tamworth Truck Drivers Memorial, established in 2000 by the Tamworth Truck Drivers Club, honors the men and women who have tragically lost their lives while serving as professional drivers in the transport industry. This poignant site features approximately 180 plaques, each memorializing a driver, along with personal tributes such as flowers, notes from children, and photographs.
Located on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, New South Wales, the memorial serves as a gathering place for reflection and remembrance. In 2015, the New South Wales Government contributed a grant to expand the site, ensuring that the contributions of these dedicated individuals are recognized and celebrated for years to come.
