Built in 1976 this large modern villa was designed by famous Belgian architect Erik Balliu. You will reside in a quiet residential area, located inside the square Ghent - Bruges - Antwerp - Brussels. You can rent one room in Bed & Breakfast formula, or when both rooms are rented 2/3 of the entire villa is at your disposition , including private garden and large kitchen. (Contact us if a third room is needed).Each room has a private sink and both rooms share a large bathroom. Since the villa is built in a U-shape, the concept of demi-villa means that you will reside in the largest part of the U and the owner lives in the other smaller part, all fully separated thus offering you a maximum of privacy. If you want, breakfast can be served.If you prefer cooking yourself, you have access to a large fully equipped kitchen.Distance to your must-see destinations:* Ghent: 19 km* Antwerp: 49 km* Bruges: 52 km* Brussels: 75 km* Knokke (Northsea): 53 kmThe little village Wachtebeke itself is known for it's Domein Puyenbroeck: an enourmous park (510 ha) with 9 hole Golf, woods, ponds, children playgrounds, swimming pool (competition, recreation, babyspa) , animal farm, mountain bike routes, gardens, ...In the village you can also rent 1ps or 2ps kayaks or even up to 10 person canoes to explore the beautiful local rivers. It's not dangerous and you can choose for a half day or full day rent. At least three pubs are situated along the riversides, all of course offering a selection of famous Belgian beers :). We speak a bit Dutch, English, French and German and will be happy to help you during your stay.
