Parque Explora

Parque Explora is an interactive science museum in Medellín, Colombia, and a symbol of social transformation from education. It consists of an aquarium with emphasis on the Amazon, a planetarium, a public experimentation workshop -Exploratorio- and more than 300 interactive experiences for the social appropriation of knowledge. It has exhibitions dedicated to subjects such as neuroscience, music, time, people’s stories and the media that have allowed them to be told. The Aquarium and the Vivarium are spaces for education, conservation and research of life that promote a new ethic of vitality. More than 2,000 individuals of various species living there remind us that we are not alone, that our destiny is common, and that we must know and respect not only what looks like us.
