Sol & Son Hostel

Our SON & SOL HOSTEL is a two-storey, four-bedroom building and hosts a total of ten guests. Unlike most hostel rooms in Cuba that are inside houses or apartments, our hostel is a one-building structure and all our four rooms (GREEN ROOM, RED ROOM, BLUE ROOM, and PINK ROOM) are dedicated only to lodging guests. We operate as a hotel and our guests are free and uninhibited in going out of and in coming into their rooms. Guests are issued a key to the main door and have 24/7 free access to their rooms. Our SON & SOL HOSTEL is located right at the center of the City of Trinidad. It is just a five-minute walk from the Viazul Bus Station or from the Plaza Mayor which is considered the heart of Trinidad. Our neighborhood is the safest in Trinidad and most of the tourists mill around our neighborhood. Our location is in an alley which in Spanish is called “callejon”. It is easy to miss our alley because of its smallness. The exact address of our hostel is 166 CALLEJON DEL OLVIDO (new street name: Callejon Santiago Escobar). Callejon del Olvido is located between Calle Jose Marti (new street name: Calle Jesus Maria) and Calle Frank Pais (new street name: Calle Carmen). If you find difficulty in locating Callejon del Olvido, please look for our sister restaurant, the SOL & SON RESTAURANT & BAR at 283 Calle Desengano (new street name: Calle Simon Bolivar) which is right next to our hostel at the other street corner. Calle Desangano is a main street and you would never miss it. Our sister restaurant staff would then walk you to our hostel. If you are coming by bus, our hostel staff could pick you up at the Viazul Bus Station provided you inform us in advance of the time of your arrival.
