The Café Memory of a Nation blends history with culture and gastronomy. It is a meeting place and a venue for public events. You can find there an interactive exhibition from Spring 2023 that will use modern technology to tell the real stories of direct participants or witnesses of Czech history. "The strongest coffee in Brno!" Szymon Rozwalka's architectural design combines old wood with new - just as the Memory of the Nation places the witnesses' stories in a contemporary context. The restored Art Deco furniture by Novoretra complements the pleasant café environment, which offers comfort while listening to an intimate concert, author readings, or live broadcasts of events organized by the Memory of the Nation in the halls of the Old Town Hall. In addition, the Café itself also serves as a shop for books, T-shirts, and other gifts from the Memory of the Nation. It is also a pick-up place for orders from the Memory of the Nation e-shop.
