Faarup Skovhus

Fårup Skovhus is located in the forest a few kilometres from the west coast of northern Jutland between the seaside towns of Blokhus and Løkken, which are centrally placed in Vendsyssel. It is a very good starting point for trips in northern Jutland. The area around Fårup Skovhus is very popular and with its many paths the nature invites hikes and bicycle rides in the forest and on the beach – one of the best and most child-friendly bathing beaches in Northern Europe. The beach is both long and wide and has beautiful white sand which is encircled by tall sand dunes. Due to size of the beach it is possible to drive to the nearby towns in your car or find your own secluded spot. Fårup Skovhus is situated in the buildings from the almost 100-year-old Fårup School, which for many years was one of the most remote schools on the west coast.
