It has several interesting buildings and the courtyard is covered with old cobblestones. Our Bed and Breakfast is placed in the "Mellemmargasinet", established in 2001 with a social meeting room and bedrooms. Everything is kept in the original style with detached rafters .During summer Kerteminde is visited by lots of tourists. The main street is for pedestrians only and different events take place here. Also the town hosts several sports events and big sailing events. Further more you will find the best beaches of Funen. When the weather is good you will find The North Beach crowded with happy summer guests. Here the youth amuse themselves playing volleyball close to the child friendly beach. During high season the lifeguards take their turns in the tower. If you want a more quiet beach you can use The South Beach situated just 500 meters from the estate.Kerteminde is also well known for its shops with specialties and restaurants with fine dining. Don't miss the Museum of the well-known artist Johannes Larsen or the Fjord and Baelt Center, where you get acquainted with the inhabitants of the Little Belt.
