The term Punjab comprises two words: “punj” meaning five and “ab” meaning water, thus the land of five rivers. We have named this establishment Five Rivers, due to this being the owner’s birth place. Punjab is known for its flourishing agriculture. Historically it is the birth place of the ten gurus, great maharajas including Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and martyrs such as Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh.
