Ellis Leatherbarrow, grandson of George, joined the firm in 1981 and is now the principal, having succeeded his father, Ian, on his retirement in 1995. Workshop manager, Howard Bainbridge, is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers with over 60 years experience.Our practices all have fully-qualified optometrists who have varied and extensive expertise (see Biographies). We are a family business in all respects, our patient base encompasses toddlers to great-grandparents, with a number of people having been clients for over 50 years.
