Primary Engineer

Primary Engineer is a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation established in 2005, focused on ensuring that all UK children and pupils realise their full potential through hands-on engagement with engineering. In the 2024-25 academic year, they worked with over 108,000 pupils, 6,000 teachers, and 2,000 engineers, facilitating more than 77,000 hours of engineering-related activities.

The organisation also hosts the Primary Engineer MacRobert Medal, which celebrates innovative projects where school pupils transform their engineering ideas into reality. Through various programmes, competitions, and resources, Primary Engineer fosters a love for engineering and STEM in both primary and secondary schools across the UK.
