The Dropping Well

The Dropping Well is a landmark pub located in the Suburb of Milltown in South Dublin, just down the road from The Nine Arches with panoramic views of the beautiful Dodder River. A fine traditional bar which has been extensively renovated over the years to provide our patrons with a superior atmosphere and exceptional facilities. The Dropping Well can cater for all of our patrons needs whether that be a family function in our rustic 'Dodder' function room, a large corporate event in our well appointed 'Bank' function room, a sumptuous meal in our Classons Restaurant, an outdoor BBQ or a simple quiet pint in one of the bars or out on the sun terrace. We show all the major sports events on our state of the art 3D and LCD TV screens, host many live bands and DJs and have a wealth of golf outings, wine tastings and other promotional nights for our customers enjoyment. Our Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Function Menus are constantly being updated to provide a superior seasonal dining experience and we also have a very large and varied wine list and rare liquor stock. The Dropping Well is easily accessible as the Milltown Luas Station is very close by and we have a large customer car park. Our Management, Bar, Floor & Kitchen Staff work as a close knit team to ensure that patrons of The Dropping Well have the best possible experience during their time with us no matter how short their stay!
