Our campsite is located right on the shore of picturesque Myvatn lake. You will find a supermarket about 150 meters from the campsite. Campsite is usually open from mid-June to mid-September depending on the weather. We do not have permission to provide chemical waste and grey water disposal due to proximity to the lake, however we have hoses available for filling up your drinking water. Facilities include hot showers and an indoor common area with benches, tables and a sink with hot water. Stove is not provided so you need to bring your own cooking equipment. All sinks have hot water up to 80 degrees and all water is drinkable. Wi-Fi is available for free in a designated area. We have laundry service and outdoor sinks (cold and hot water). The number of spots for electricity campers is limited, and they are not widely spaced. Charging of electronic devices is provided free of cost. In case of late arrival, we will ask you for a security deposit. We offer boat rental ( fishing permit included) and discounts to our guests for whale watching in Husavik.
