Villa Mirano Bed & Breakfast
Villa Mirano (C.I.R. 001194-BEB-00003) is an ancient country house located near the center of Piossasco, a town a stone's throw from Turin, halfway between the Piedmontese capital and the beautiful and elegant city of Pinerolo famous for panettone, cavalry and for being the birthplace of the comedian Macario. The Villa certainly dates back to the second half of the eighteenth century having already been registered in the Napoleonic archives and owes its name to Carlo Gaetano Mirano, an illustrious guest who lived there from 1880 to 1912 and who is remembered by an inscription on the west side of the house. The current owners bought it in 1997 doing a deep and awaited recovery work of the building which had been abandoned for almost 40 years. The owners, lovers of travel and cultural exchanges, after having traveled for years and having experienced the experience of Anglo-Saxon Bed and Breakfasts, wanted to re-propose this formula by making available to their guests not only their home but also their experiences accumulated during travels through northern Europe and the United States. Open to all cultures and lifestyles, they speak English and French.
