Himapan Nairobi organize a unique creative art workshop “Lotus Leaf Painting”. You just come to our Atelier and choose Canvas and Colors. You don’t need technical knowledge and any materials. Follow your inspiration, relax and paint on organic lotus leaves. Children (10 years old and above) are also welcome. It is a good opportunity of first oil painting experience.

We offer outstanding experience that include social interaction with the locals, learn to prepare local foods, visit of local originations with an aim of promoting the cultural exchange and changing the Kibera narrative.

We’re Kenya’s first bone craft collective and have been operating since 1985 in Kibera – our home and Kenya’s biggest slum. Visit our workshop for hands-on workshops with our artisans where you'll craft your own souvenirs or pop by to see out artisans at work and check out our gift shop.
