He was a pioneer of this art with variations in design & colors to suit the glamour & pulse of the yesteryear generations. He personally selects the colors & creates designs for the customers to suit each ones taste. He changed the fashion from all conventional design & gave the world a new thinking to classical designs through creativity & never compromised on the quality. This change of creativity into new thinking of the generations & represents the true work of arts with passion of lifeline to this day. The name "Sunimals" signifies the core of new generation's creative designs which has been reputed for over three Decades. Its nothing but fashion, beautiful vibrant & authentic in design & material with the name with a rich history of giving the customers the widest design & range in art. In 1993, the first showroom started & has diversified to Kandy to give convenience & accessibility to the loyal customer base. In 1990 the reigns were shared with the family on different designing to suit households. He together with his wife & children expanded the business taking it to a new level with Handloom household linen, bags, toys, cushions, shoes, sarees, sarongs, souvenirs & gift items.
