Xic Xanac it’s a family owned ecological development built in which it was a 1880 colonial farm or hacienda using recycled materials from the region. Surrounded by mountains and in the hearth of the sierra (mountain range) of puebla Mexico about 2:30 hrs from mexico city int. airport. On August 2006 we start welcoming alternate tourism from all over the world for those who wants to experience the beauty of small towns in Mexico, have real contact with local people and really have the chance to get to know the culture and nature of mexico in a different way.As soon as you get into Xic Xanac immediately will have the sensation of being in a place made with love and commandment and great vibe. Let us invite you to know our facilities you wont regret. Facilities are mainly of clay and wood, to obtain the warmth of this material born from our land. We have lots of activities and tours like morning walking’s through the woods or mountains, cycling tours, outdoors fireplaces, visiting the Valley of Piedras Encimadas and Ruta del Pulque (local ancient prehispanic drink), yoga classes, temazcal ( prehispanic steam bath) walking around ancient villages in the middle of the mountains ( visit a real totonaco street market where they still trade different items)
