I Baren

Our restaurant has been given its name I Baren, from Edvard Munch's painting with the same name. This is the place to meet to celebrate with friends, family and to loosen your tie and have a cold beer, some amazing snacks and a good laugh with colleagues after work . Good music, good vibes, laughter and lots of life is the feeling you get when you enter our doors. I Baren is a pleasant Gastropub where food, drinks and a good atmosphere is enjoyed in Oslo´s new urban neighbourhood. You will be served good food with a menu based on seasonal ingredients with a focus towards seafood. In the bar you will find exciting beers, good wines and refreshing cocktails. I Baren is owned by Akershusgruppen. Since 2008 we have been busy making good food, drinks and experiences. In our restaurants you are welcome to come as you are- either for enjoying a night with family and friends, meeting good colleagues or having a fun game night with your friends.
