KC's, established in 1976 was first ever to introduce steak, pumpkin pie, pan pizza, homemade apple pie, homemade cakes, Italian pasta and many European foods in Kathmandu. It was height of 70's hippie era and Kathmandu was little known to the foreigners then. There were very few tourist restaurants in Kathmandu with numbers of guest houses serving traditional Nepalese cuisine and breads were still baked on firewood. We have traveled a long way with so many support from our dinners and visitors, now we are working with better kitchen tools and facilities.
