Yakety Yak Hostel is located in Thamel. The heart of hip and happening Kathmandu. It is a planned and purpose-built hostel and not some residential building converted to a hostel. Everything is within minutes, if not seconds of the hostel. The hostel compound itself is home to 3 restaurants, cafes, pubs and convenience store. Outside the hostel are scores of shops, travel agents, adventure specialists, cool clubs, music lounges - you name it. Since Yakety Yak Hostel is purpose built, we’ve spent a lot of time planning each area carefully. There are 5 spacious private rooms and 7 large dorms. A total of 72 beds. Segregated showers with running hot and cold water and WC areas, a huge lounge area, a sunny terrace and bar We also have a kitchen and luggage storage. We are located in the traffic allowed section of Thamel, so you can drive right up in your taxi. No need to haul your luggage for hundreds of meters!
