Akitō

Akito is a Maori verb that means to do something slowly. We think that’s a beautiful concept that applies in our cooking and our food practices. In our experimental kitchen you will find us pickling, preserving and practicing methods of fermentation with fruit vegetables, and with grains. We don’t label ourselves a vegan cafe, nor a vegetarian one. We are a place that loves to highlight plant food
