<p>Founded more than 150 years ago in Lawrence, the First-Calvary Baptist Church moved to North Andover in 1992 after a fire destroyed its Lawrence facility. The church is a member of the American Baptist Churches, which is a theologically moderate yet Evangelically-oriented denomination. The First-Calvary Baptist Church has about 300 members and, although Baptist, welcomes people from every Christian backgrounds to come worship.</p>
