Nestled on 42 acres between the east end of Waikiki and picturesque Diamond Head, the Honolulu Zoo is a popular attraction on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Zoo animals range from aardvarks to yellow-throated plated lizards. Among the 124 bird species is the endangered nene, or Hawaiian goose.
