Southwestern charm posh design and a central location are big draws for our guests at the Inn at Loretto set in one of the most photographed buildings in Santa Fe. Built in 1975 on the site of the Sisters of Loretto girls' school this iconic five-floor hotel pampers guests with plush facilities and lots of charm. Inspired by the 13th-century Taos Pueblos the earth-toned interiors (renovated in 2008) feature details like handcrafted doors and local artisan works. The 134 rooms are decorated with historic photos and a red black and gold color scheme and furnished with pillowtop beds flat-panel TVs work desks and luxe bath products. Minibars are stocked with personal oxygen tanks (for an extra fee) for guests feeling the mountain altitude. The additional daily resort fee includes local calls Wi-Fi to-go morning coffee and use of the fitness center. Along with a fine dining restaurant the hotel offers a more casual restaurant that hosts happy hours and tasty eats. The full-service spa integrates Native American therapies and herbs into its services. Valet parking is available for an additional fee; pets are permitted for a fee. Located at the end of the Old Santa Fe Trail the Inn is in the heart of the city near the Palace of Governors and one block from the Plaza's shopping museums restaurants and galleries. It's nine miles to Santa Fe Municipal Airport and 68 miles to Albuquerque International Sunport.
